The National Women in Agriculture Association (NWIAA) is the largest women-led agricultural nonprofit in the world, serving more than 120 chapters across the United States and internationally. For nearly two decades, our mission has been to uplift and equip farmers, families, and future leaders through community-based agricultural programs and nationwide initiatives.
Our work focuses on expanding equitable access to resources, strengthening America’s food systems, and supporting underserved communities through programs that create real, measurable impact.

Farmers are facing rising costs, delayed assistance, and workforce shortages that threaten their livelihoods and local food systems. Through our Grassroots Farmers Aid & Assistance Initiative, National Women in Agriculture is working across 15 states to connect farmers with critical resources, leadership opportunities, and community-driven solutions.
At the heart of this effort are local and virtual town hall events, where farmers, partners, and agricultural leaders come together to share challenges, strengthen networks, and drive meaningful change.

The Farmers Grassroots Advisory Council is driving a national, farmer-led effort to strengthen agriculture by connecting producers with critical aid, expanding leadership opportunities, and fostering collaboration across states and communities. Through direct engagement, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, the initiative supports farmers facing economic and workforce challenges while helping strengthen food security, empower rural economies, and create sustainable pathways for the next generation of agricultural leaders.
